Program Description

Drive to Zvartnots Temple - a Unesco World Heritage built in 7th century AD and embrace its unique and unprecedented architecture typical for that period. Next, head to religious center of Armenia - Echmiadzin city which is also known as Vagharshapat. Visit Echmiadzin Cathedral – one of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the museum inside it, then visit St. Gayane and Hripsime churches located at walking distance from the cathedral. Afterwards, free time for lunch in Echmiadzin at the Cross of Armenian Unity in a very friendly and authentic atmosphere. Next, proceed to Alluria winery for wine tasting. Inspired by Machanyan family winemaking traditions coming from several centuries Alluria wine was created from “Haghtanak” and “Karmrahyut” grape varieties grown in their own vineyards. Drive back to Yerevan.
