Departure from the hotels. Drive to the viewpoint El Mirador del Roque de los Muchachos, from where you will start hiking the GR-131 trail, known as “El Bastón,” along the ridge of Caldera de Taburiente National Park. At the beginning of the trail, the gradient is significant but gradually decreases. Throughout the hike, you will be accompanied by unusual views, including the interior of one of the largest erosion craters in the world. The path leads to Mirador de los Andenes, intersecting with a wall of basalt stone along the way. Continue climbing to the second highest peak on the island, located in the subalpine zone: Pico de la Cruz (2351 meters above sea level). During the route, with good visibility, you will have the opportunity to enjoy magnificent views of the entire Barranco de las Angustias Gorge and the neighboring islands of Tenerife, El Hierro, and La Gomera. Transfer back to the hotels.
