Program Description

An ideal tour to visit the highlights of the island of Sal. Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the town of Santa Maria, followed by a guided walking tour. Santa Maria has evolved from salt mining into the largest tourist town in the Cape Verde Islands. Next stop is Kite beach, one of the world's best kite surfing spots. Time for photos and admiring the beautiful views. Drive to Porto Palmeira. Walk around the port, during which you will observe the traditional life of the locals, who make their living by fishing and working in the port. The next point of the tour is the Miragem Nature Reserve, where you can observe the unusual phenomenon of the illusion of water in the desert, which appears under the influence of high temperatures. Drive to Buracona Bay, considered one of the 7 wonders of the island. On site, an opportunity to swim in the amazing natural pools. Next, visit the village of Murdeira, a walk through the village while enjoying the view of Monte Leão (Lion Mountain). The last point is Espargos, where a stop for cooling local drinks is. Return to the hotel.
