Program Description

A unique tour that combines learning about traditional Cyprus and entertainment for the whole family. Pick up from the hotels and set off en route to the first point of the tour, which is the Argonaftis Donkey farm. Along the way you will enjoy picturesque views, small villages, orange groves and the Xeros Potamos River valley. Reaching the farm, which is also a museum of folk art and rural life on the island. Upon arrival, traditional Cypriot products such as local wine, halloumi cheese, olives and handmade bread will be served. On site, you will have the opportunity to visit the Agricultural Art Museum on your own, where you will learn how Cypriots made wine, zivania and olive oil years ago. Then there will be an opportunity for an optional donkey ride through the peaceful countryside. The ride route leads to the 14th-century monastery of Panagia of Sintis, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the site, a ride in a Bedford country vehicle. Return to the farm by bus. Lunch. Finally, a show of Cypriot folk music and dances. After the show, return to hotels.
