Full-day excursion along the coast of Belle-Île-en-Mer, the jewel of the Atlantic Ocean in southern Brittany. Gather at the port of Maria in Quiberon. The excursion includes a boat cruise combined with a tour of the island's most interesting sites. To begin, sail along the rugged cliffs that mark the island's coastline. Disembark at the Port de Le Palais. Climb to the vantage point at the Pointe des Poulains natural reserve with its historic lighthouse. Walk to the Sarah Bernhardt Museum, which features exhibits dedicated to the history of the site. Then, walk to the fishing village of Sauzon, famous for its colorful harbor and charming streets, reflecting the unique atmosphere of the island. Time for lunch near Sauzon (on your own). Next, enjoy a walk through the Port de Le Palais. Take a tour of the Vauban citadel before returning to the boat. The return cruise will bring you back to the port of Maria in Quiberon. Return to hotels on your own.
