Walk through Lindos, one of the most beautiful villages on the island of Rhodes. The passage between the white cottages and the narrow streets full of mosaics is an opportunity to admire the charming local architecture. The guide leads the group to the acropolis created in the 2nd century B.C. (walking or riding on a donkey; there is no car traffic in Lindos). Acropolis is an impressive castle on the top of the hill, where you can admire the spectacular views (such as the Bay of St. Paul, where the Apostle once sheltered himself from the storm). Then drive (about 55 km) to the city of Rhodes, which combines the beauty of modernity with the charm of a long history. During the drive over the hill of Monte Smith, the opportunity to enjoy a panoramic view of the ruins of the Apollo Temple. Upon arrival, pass through the harbour of Mandraki and the Rodos old town. Then, a walk by the Palace of the Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of Rhodes and free time or optional (additional cost): visit the interior of the palace.
