Program Description
Discover Thassos, known as the Emerald of the Aegean Sea, one of Greece's greenest and most beautiful islands. During this full-day excursion, you'll explore its most important landmarks, charming villages and breathtaking landscapes while learning about the island's fascinating history, legends and traditions, dating back more than 20,000 years.
Your first stop is the Ancient Agora in Limenas, where you'll discover the remains of the island's ancient city and learn about its rich past. Afterwards, you'll have free time to stroll through the island's capital, browse local shops or relax at one of the waterfront cafés.
The journey continues to the traditional village of Panagia, famous for its natural springs, the island's largest church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and its charming stone-built houses. You'll also visit a local honey and olive oil producer, where you'll discover some of Thassos' best-known regional products.
Next, you'll visit the Monastery of Archangel Michael, a dramatic cliffside convent overlooking the Aegean Sea. The monastery is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views towards Mount Athos.
The final stop is Aliki, a picturesque double bay with remarkable historical significance. Here, you'll explore the remains of ancient temples, historic marble quarries, early Christian basilicas and Roman cemeteries, making it one of the island's most fascinating archaeological sites.

Reviews
A nice trip, although for Greece, there aren`t many treasures :) But that`s probably just the nature of the island.
The trip is highly recommended. The guide, Daria, clearly has a wealth of knowledge and interesting facts about the island to share throughout the week. The atmosphere was pleasant, relaxed, and relaxed, with clear rules about meeting times and locations. The driver and guide were punctual. The locations on the trip were interesting, the stories were engaging, and the variety of monuments and sites kept us entertained. A big plus was the ample time for self-exploration, shopping, and lunch – it was nice to have something to eat at a local restaurant for a reasonable price. The trip was definitely worth the price and the time spent; a nice break from the pool and all-inclusive, creating memories. Itaka 5/5
