Program Description
A excursion to Rio Lagartos, the heart of the Yucatan nature reserve, is a real treat for any nature lover! The program includes a cruise along the Yucatan Canal surrounded by mangroves and an extraordinary opportunity to admire a variety of bird species and flamingos. Crossing towards the amazing Las Coloradas - a set of lagoons where the high concentration of salt gives the water different tones, from yellow to orange to pink! Then, a clay bath, crossing to the beach and time to wash off the clay. Lunch. A visit to the Ojo de Agua reservoir in Chiquila, where crocodiles can be seen. On the way back, a stop at a cenote.
