Then a visit to the ethnographic museum Museu do Cardina and tasting local wine. The museum building is octagonal in shape, resembling local windmills. Drive through the Serra de Dentro and the Serra de Fora to the Portela viewpoint, with a panoramic view of the west of the island and the characteristic windmills. Return to the hotel.
