Have a great day discovering the Algarve’s Nature combining fun with culture, gastronomy, nature, and organic farm experience.
The day starts with a briefing of the Moorish occupation and the real Algarve. In the morning we will drive you on a Land Rover 4x4 jeeps across the natural reserve and the salt plants where you will have the opportunity to see wildlife such as black-winged stilt, flamingos, and storks. The ride will take you to an organic farm where you will taste a variety of local products from figs to carob followed by a visit of basket craft still made in the traditional way or a taste at the local honey. The stop for traditional and animated lunch will be done in Quinta do Rio farm classified as Nature 2000 protected area on the bank of the river that separates Portugal from Spain. In here you can feel free to swim and cool down at the pool with beautiful views of the Guadiana River.
After lunch sail along the river Guadiana, enjoy the nature and relax on the sun terrace and/or at the bar located in the boat salon. Live music on board.
Note: The stops described above may be made in the morning or afternoon depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
