Trekking around Caminito del Rey, a scenic route along the walls of the huge limestone canyon of the Guadalhorce River in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes National Park. The trail, solemnly opened in 1921 by King Alfonso XIII, after many years was renovated and made available to tourists. The route runs at a height of about 100 m, and the cliffs rise to 700 m. The total length of the route is 8 km, of which about 3 km leads along bridges over the gorge. Thanks to renovation and security, people without climbing experience can go through it. Afterwards a drive to picturesque Ardales. Free time to visit the historic church and the ruins of Ardales Castle. Return to the hotel.
