Pick-up from hotels in Granada and transfer to the Alhambra Palace - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see for anyone visiting Granada. The Alhambra palace complex is the best-preserved example of Moorish architecture in Spain. Strategically located on a hilltop, this medieval fortress towers over the city and is widely considered the eighth wonder of the world.
The tour program includes: Alcazaba - a complex of palace fortifications and the oldest part of the Alhambra complex, previously used for military purposes; Nasrid Palaces – built in the 14th century for Muslim rulers, with extraordinary and richly decorated chambers, including the assembly halls of Mexuar, Comares and Los Leones. The latter is considered the greatest representative of Nasrid art. Finally, a visit to the Generalife - a summer palace, located east of the Alhambra and surrounded by vast gardens full of various plants with characteristic Islamic landscape architecture. The order of visiting the facilities may change and depends on the time of entry to the Nasrid Palaces. Return to the hotels in Granada.
