Visit to the historical garden and public park. The park is approx. 120 hectares and houses an extraordinary wealth of flora. Inside, we can admire it’s collection of architecture, sculptures, and landscapes from between the 17th and 21st centuries.
Of these monuments, we will give special attention to the one dedicated to Alfonso XII, as well as the Crystal Palace, the Great Pond, the Parterre, the Gate of Philip IV, the Royal Astronomical Observatory, the Fountain of the Artichoke and the chapel of San Pelayo and San Isidoro. Much of the original layout was destroyed during the French invasion, however there are still traces of the 17th and 18th century throughout the park.
