A two-day trip to Yogyakarta, a city in central Java at the foot of the Merapi volcano.
Day 1: Transfer to Denpasar Ngurah Rai Airport and flight to Yogyakarta, Java. Transfer and visit Borobudur, a masterpiece of art and architecture, one of the largest Buddhist temples in the world, located near the city of Magelang. The temple was designed as a mandala and is a kind of labyrinth. The entire complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then transfer to hotel in Yogyakarta, accommodation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Breakfast. Check-out. Visit to Keraton Palace - the residence of the current sultan and his family, which is also the center of Javanese culture. Then a visit to Kota Gede, a town known for its silver products. There you can see the remains of the sultan's palace, as well as the royal cemetery and mosque. Also on the way is a visit to Prambanan, one of the largest temple complexes in Indonesia. Particularly noteworthy are the statues dedicated to the gods Vishnu, Siwa and Brahma and the exterior decorations. After the tour, transfer to the airport and flight to Bali.
