Program Description
Fuerteventura is an island of striking contrasts - from rugged cliffs and black-sand beaches to vast dunes stretching alongside the ocean. During this full-day tour, you will discover some of the island’s most distinctive landscapes, sea caves, traditional Canarian architecture and places connected with its history.
Your journey will begin on the east coast of Fuerteventura, from where you will head towards Faro de la Entallada. This spot stands out for its location above the ocean and offers sweeping views of the Atlantic coastline.
Next, you will travel to the west of the island to Ajuy, a small seaside village known for its black volcanic beach and sea caves. The scenery here is very different from the light-coloured beaches usually associated with Fuerteventura and reveals a more rugged side of the island.
The next stop will be Betancuria, one of the most important places linked to Fuerteventura’s history. As you walk through the village, you will see characteristic Canarian architecture, whitewashed buildings and quiet streets that have retained their traditional charm.
In the north of the island, the landscape changes once again at Dunas de Corralejo. Vast dunes stretch along the coast, creating an almost desert-like setting beside the blue waters of the Atlantic. It is one of Fuerteventura’s most recognisable natural landscapes.
During the day, you will also enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant, where you can sample local flavours and take a break before continuing the tour.
