Program Description

On this full day trip, you will visit two of the most famous attractions in Sicily, the Etna volcano, the highest volcano in Europe and the enchanting small town of Taormina on the East Coast.We will travel through enchanting landscape to reach by coach the height 1900 mt above the sea level on the slopes of Etna and, according to the weather conditions, enjoy some free time for various optional hiking activities or to enjoy the view and relax in one cafeteria. In the afternoon we will proceed to Taormina, pearl of the Mediterranean Sea, a small town known for its enchanting narrow lanes, lush vegetation, superb palaces and the great panorama view to the Sea and the Etna Volcano. You can enjoy and explore the town on your own during some free time in the city center. Chosen guided language available subject to minimal number of participants.

Important information

This note applies only to guests staying at the Carlton Riviera Hotel.
Depending on the season, the pickup may not be directly at the hotel due to limited access for large buses. In such cases, a local shuttle (approx. €6 per person, paid on the spot) may be required to reach the general pickup point.
We kindly recommend confirming the exact pickup location with the organizer one day before the tour.
