Program Description
End your visit to Montserrat with a ride on the cable car that has connected the mountain with the lower station at its foot since 1930. The descent offers a comfortable way to leave the upper part of Montserrat while enjoying final views of the rugged rock formations and the sweeping Catalan landscape.
During the ride on the Montserrat Cable Car, the cabin gradually moves away from the mountain, revealing views of the surrounding valleys, hills and countryside. The combination of height, open space and dramatic scenery makes the journey an interesting part of the visit, rather than simply a means of transport.
For decades, the cable car has formed part of the history of Montserrat and remains one of the most scenic ways to travel between the mountain and the valley below. The descent provides a relaxed ending to your time on the mountain, with wide views across the Catalan countryside.
