Program Description
Visit San Mamés Stadium, known as "La Catedral", and discover the home of one of Spain's most distinctive football clubs. This self-guided experience is perfect for football fans and anyone curious to explore behind the scenes of Bilbao's iconic stadium.
With a multilingual audio guide, you will learn about the more than 100-year history of Athletic Club, famous for its unique tradition of fielding players with strong ties to the Basque Country. Discover why the club has remained faithful to its philosophy and become a symbol of Basque identity.
Your tour takes you behind the scenes to areas normally reserved for players and staff. Visit the changing rooms, step pitchside, and experience the atmosphere of the stadium that has been home to Los Leones ("The Lions") for generations. The visit also includes the Athletic Club Museum, where you can explore trophies, memorabilia and the club's greatest moments.
