Program Description
Discover the fascinating maritime history of the Basque Country at Itsasmuseum, a museum dedicated to the region's seafaring traditions. Located on the banks of the Bilbao Estuary (Ría de Bilbao), the museum explores how the sea shaped the lives of local communities and the development of the region for centuries.
The exhibitions trace the history of shipbuilding, navigation and the Port of Bilbao, one of Spain's most important industrial and commercial ports during the 20th century. Visitors under 13, must be accompanied by an adult.
