Program Description

Cross the Strait of Gibraltar and experience the colours, flavours and local traditions of Tangier in just one day. During this trip to Morocco, you will see the city's distinctive neighbourhoods, wander through the medina and Kasbah, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and soak up the atmosphere of the local souks.

After pick-up from your meeting point, you will travel to Tarifa, where the ferry departs. Upon arrival to Tangier, meet your local guide and begin with a panoramic coach tour. The route takes you along Boulevard Pasteur, Place de France, the Spanish Quarter, San Francisco Quarter and the former British Colony, where you can admire some of the city's impressive palaces.

Next, stop at Cape Spartel, one of the distinctive landmarks in the Tangier area. If you wish, you can also visit the Caves of Hercules or enjoy a camel ride - both experiences are optional and available at an additional cost.

The next part of the tour continues on foot. Walk through the historic Kasbah before heading into the narrow streets of the medina and local souks. Along the way, you will visit a local bakery and see a snake charmer, offering a glimpse into the everyday atmosphere of Tangier's historic quarters.

During the day, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you will also have some free time for shopping.

At the end of your visit, return to the port of Tangier and take the ferry back to Tarifa. Arrival in Tarifa is scheduled for approximately 20:00 Spanish time, followed by your return transfer.
