Your tour begins near Ópera Metro Station, where you will meet your guide before heading to Almudena Cathedral, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Madrid. From there, you will cross Plaza de la Armería to reach the magnificent Royal Palace of Madrid, the largest royal residence in Europe. Although the palace boasts more than 3,000 rooms, your guided visit will take you through its most impressive state rooms, including the Throne Room, the Hall of Mirrors, the elegant Gasparini Room and other beautifully decorated royal apartments, where official state ceremonies are still held today.
