Program Description
Discover different sides of Majorca on an excursion combining local culture, the scenery of the Formentor Peninsula and time to relax by the sea. Visit a traditional market in the historic part of Alcudia, admire the coastline from one of the island’s best-known viewpoints and enjoy a boat trip across Pollensa Bay.
The first stop will be Alcudia Market, set in the surroundings of the historic old town. Among the colourful stalls, you can find local products and handicrafts such as ceramics, jewellery, olive oil, honey, almonds and figs. It is a great opportunity to experience the local atmosphere and look for souvenirs from the island.
Next, you will head towards the Formentor Peninsula, known for its dramatic coastline and Mediterranean vegetation, which provides a natural habitat for many species of birds and lizards. You will stop at the Es Colomer Viewpoint, offering panoramic views over the rugged northern coast of Majorca. On a clear day, you may even be able to see the neighbouring island of Menorca in the distance.
You will then continue to the port in Pollensa and board a boat for a cruise across Pollensa Bay. From the water, you can admire Majorca’s coastline from a different perspective as you make your way towards Formentor Beach.
Once there, you will have free time to relax by the sea. You can unwind on the sand, go for a swim or simply enjoy the surroundings, with steep cliffs and the Mediterranean creating a distinctive backdrop.
The excursion in your chosen language is available subject to a minimum number of participants.
The order of visits and the programme may be subject to change.
