Discover the flavours of Sri Lankan cuisine during an authentic cooking experience in a traditional village near Galle. This hands-on workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn about the island's aromatic spices, local ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.

After hotel pick-up, you'll travel to a local village where the experience takes place in a traditional village hut. Your guide will introduce you to the essential ingredients used in Sri Lankan cuisine and explain the techniques behind preparing a traditional Sri Lankan curry. You'll also learn how coconut milk is made – a key ingredient in many local dishes.

Guided step by step, you'll prepare your own curry while discovering the secrets of balancing spices and flavours that make Sri Lankan cuisine so distinctive.

At the end of the workshop, you'll enjoy a tasting of the dishes you've prepared, before returning to your hotel.
