Private excursion - Paddies & Plantations (2-5 persons)

Discover the peaceful side of Sri Lanka on a scenic cycling tour through the picturesque countryside surrounding Galle. This excursion takes you past lush rice paddies, fragrant cinnamon plantations and tropical landscapes, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience rural life and the island's natural beauty.

After hotel pick-up, you'll travel to the meeting point, where you'll begin an approximately 12-kilometre cycling tour. The route passes through flowering rice fields, aromatic cinnamon plantations and quiet rural villages. Along the way, you may spot water buffaloes, white egrets, tea bushes, banana trees, coconut palms and pineapple plantations.

Guests choosing the longer route will stop in the scenic hills of Kahanda Kanda, located north of Koggala Lake. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste refreshing Thambili, a traditional drink made from young king coconut, or enjoy lunch at your own expense.

After the excursion, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
