After hotel pick-up, travel to Yatagala Raja Maha Viharaya, a temple dating back to the 3rd century BC. Beautifully set among giant granite rocks, this historic sanctuary is home to a striking 9-metre Buddha statue, ancient wall paintings and centuries of religious tradition. During your visit, you'll learn about the temple's history and its importance as one of Sri Lanka's oldest places of worship.

After the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
