Program Description

Bangkok is a city of contrasts, where golden temples and royal palaces stand alongside modern skyscrapers, while traditional life continues along its historic canals. On this full-day trip from Hua Hin, you'll explore the most important landmarks of Thailand's capital, enjoy a boat trip along its canals and admire spectacular city views from over 300 metres above the ground!

You'll set off early in the morning for Bangkok, where your sightseeing adventure begins at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho). Here, you'll see an impressive 46-metre-long, gold-covered Buddha statue. Next, you'll visit the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), considered Thailand's most sacred Buddhist sanctuary. The jade Buddha statue housed inside is one of the country's most revered religious images.

Your next stop will be the Grand Palace, which served as the official residence of Thai monarchs for over 150 years. Its richly decorated buildings, golden details and distinctive architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Bangkok's royal past.

You'll then enjoy a boat trip along the canals of Thonburi, passing traditional wooden houses built on stilts and observing the daily lives of local residents. Bangkok's extensive network of canals is what earned the city its nickname, the "Venice of the East". During the day, you'll also enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

One of the most thrilling highlights of the trip will be a visit to the Mahanakhon observation deck. From the indoor viewing area on the 74th floor and the outdoor terrace at approximately 314 metres, you'll admire sweeping panoramic views of Bangkok. If you're looking for an extra adrenaline rush, don't miss the Glass Tray - a glass-floored viewing platform offering a breathtaking view of the streets hundreds of metres below your feet. Walking above the skyline of Thailand's capital is an experience you won't forget!

After a day of sightseeing, you'll begin your return journey to Hua Hin.
