Jeep Adventure to Duong Lam Ancient Village

This tour is a perfect opportunity to discover the authentic side of northern Vietnam – far from the busy city, surrounded by green fields, traditional villages and centuries of history. You will experience local life and gain insight into the culture of the Vietnamese countryside.

Pickup will be from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or a designated meeting point. You will then travel towards Duong Lam, one of the best-preserved ancient villages in the region.

Upon arrival, you will hop into a classic Vietnam Army Jeep and set off on a scenic ride through the countryside. Along the way, you will pass rice fields, rivers and mountainous landscapes, with opportunities to interact with local farmers and learn about traditional farming practices.

During the day, you will enjoy lunch prepared by a local family, offering a chance to taste authentic homemade Vietnamese dishes.

Afterwards, explore Duong Lam Village on foot and discover its rich history and traditional architecture. Walk along ancient lanes, see houses that are several hundred years old and visit key landmarks such as the Mong Phu Communal House, known for its unique design and cultural significance.

You will also visit a local home to experience daily life and learn how traditional products such as soy sauce are made. The tour includes stops at Mia Temple and memorial sites dedicated to historical figures such as Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen.

In the evening, you will return to Hanoi after a day filled with authentic cultural experiences.
